about Jordan
My name is Jordan but those closest to me call me Jo. I have lived and worked in New York City for over ten years. I became a postpartum doula after a career in public health following the birth of my first child. It was then I became acutely aware of the support I wanted from my community, but didn’t always receive or know to ask for. Through my experience, I have developed an innate sense of what parents of newborns need - calm, nourishment, knowledge, tidiness, companionship, and space for self-care. The fourth trimester can be daunting, particularly for new parents, but with the right support it doesn’t have to be!
